Hazardous waste comes to Cardiff

Viridor have drawn back to claim 'preparatory works', as well as Cdf admitting Cdn 4. Also note both Viridor and the Council claiming 'non-hazardous ash', because the Consent is on the basis of no hazardous waste being processed - 


How will Viridor ensure that the bottom ash produced is non-hazardous and how the Council will check this, in view of EA guidance that IBA is presumed to be hazardous (and sometimes/often is hazardous waste)

    Presumably, the same way that they do in all the other waste incinerators in the UK & EU.
